REMINDER FROM THE OFFICE
If you wish to schedule ANY events in the church building, please contact the Office first. We need to be sure there are no scheduling conflicts and we need to be aware of events when people call to ask questions. Often we are in no position to give out information because we have not been informed. (This includes people on the Prayer List). Please remember to contact the office FIRST before scheduling ANYTHING. Thank you, Alice & Deb

FROM THE MISSION/OUTREACH COMMITTEE
The Mission/Outreach Committee has developed a calendar of giving for 2014. We feel that this gives each of you a chance to reach out to others in a way that feels right for you. We will have six projects throughout the year, giving you a chance to participate in your own way.
*March - Kindercottage is having a capital campaign. They want to upgrade their kitchen, improve and expand their playground, improve access to the building and pay off the mortgage. This gives our church a chance to donate to Uni-Pres Kindercottage. There will be colored envelopes in the pews for your donations.
*May - Give blood. Join the blood drive on Sunday May 4, headed by Warren Carter.
*July - Collect school supplies for Kreitner School. There will be a box in the Narthex.
*September - Collect PF's and other items for women's night needs at Southwest Violence Prevention Center in Belleville.
*November - Bring food pantry items to church each Sunday.
*December - Christmas Joy Offering.
